Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress who is best recognized for her appearances in TV series The Shield and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003 she has proved her ability as an actress, delivering stunning performances on television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7, and Under the Dome. She was first noticed for her role as Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. Her performance in the biographical film All the Way as the feminist activist Fannie Lou Hammer attracted the attention of the public. Hind also earned high praise for her role as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's dramatic period drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the show is scheduled to be renewed for a second season. Recently Hind wrapped filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters due to release mid-2019. Her father Krishnaraj worked as an Army scientist who died in March of 2017 and his mother Vrinda is a homemaker. Aditya, who is an engineer in the merchant navy, and also her brother, works for her. Bachchan's brother co-produced and co-wrote the script for Dil Ka Rishta with their mother. Arya Vidya Mandir School was the high school she attended located in Mumbai after moving there together with the family. After completing her intermediate studies through Jai Hind College, she was accepted into D.G. Ruparel College Matunga, where she achieved a 90 percentile in her H.S.C. exams. As a teenager she spent five years learning classical music and dancing. Zuology was Bachchan's favorite subject. Bachchan was a student at architecture when in 1994 she was chosen Miss World. It was a title that made Bachchan a star in the world of modeling. The year 2003 was the time she received high-paying jobs with PepsiCo Inc. as well as Vogue magazine. She also got a contract as model for L'Oreal Paris spokesmodel. Her acting career was successful. career thanks to her performances in Iruvar (1997 and Aur Pyaar ho Gaya (1997). The same year, she became one of the very first Indian actress to join the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan appeared part of Gurinder Chedha's Bride and Prejudice. This musical and ballet adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. The beauty and fame of Bachchan was then merged in her first English film in the language. The return of Bachchan to Bollywood was to be seen in Dhoom: 2 2006 before she made Provoked The Provoked True Story (2006). Abhishek Bachchan married her in April of 2007. He's a Bollywood celebrity and regular co-star.
